Roofs and walls for generations
Since 1889, Kratky has been providing roof seals, sheet metal work, and comprehensive planning, consulting, and maintenance services. Architects and developers in residential, commercial, and industrial construction trust the company’s high-quality standards. The approximately 60 employees look forward with pride and confidence to a successful future, which is already secured by the fifth generation of the Kratky family.

From master craftsman school to fifth generation
The company is managed by senior partner Thomas Kratky, Nadja Kratky, and Stefan Knopp-Kratky. With daughter Nadja and her husband Stefan, the company is now transitioning into the fifth generation. The dedicated couple met at roofing master school, now have three children, and continue to run the traditional family business with passion, foresight, and enthusiasm.

State-of-the-art technology
When you enter Kratky’s production hall, the first thing you notice is the row of machines from the Cidan Machinery Group, which are designed for highly efficient production. An 8-fold decoiling solution feeds the desired material directly into the nuSLIT, a modular straightening and cut-to-length line from Forstner that ensures precise cutting. The loading table of the Thalmann TD double folder allows easy positioning of the blanks for automatic lateral sheet feeding. After the sheets are automatically flipped, the finished profiles are transported – also automatically – to the removal unit, where they can be conveniently removed.
Software and machinery in harmony
At Kratky, nuEVOLUTION enables user-friendly and versatile planning for efficient profile production. The innovative software not only connects the linked machines, but also offers numerous useful functions: an editor for drawing profiles including a 3D view, automatic creation of order-related documents, and a comprehensive profile database whose parameters can be adjusted in no time at all.
