CutLink control system
RAPIDO comes standard with a CutLink control system that controls following:
- 29.5″ (750 mm) or 39.3″ (1000 mm) motorized back gauge, in single or program mode.
- Pneumatic sheet support
- Parts counter
- Cutting mode – single cut or continuous cut
- Pneumatic controlled Holddownbeam (Optional)

Fast and accurate NC- controlled motorized back gauge with T-belt and ball screw spindles.
Sheet support with front delivery
The pneumatic sheet support is supporting the material during the cutting cycle. This ensures a maximum back gauge precision and prevent dog ears at the cut pieces. After the cut, the sheet support delivers the sheet to the front of the shear.
This is a great advantage when cutting large sheets or sensitive materials like copper and zinc.
Holddownbeam with LED cutting line light
The hold down beam positioned just 1.2″ (32 mm) from the cutting line, minimizing waste.
The beam also serves as finger protection, preventing fingers from reaching the knives.
The holddownbeam has an opening at the top, providing a clear view of the LED illuminated lower shear blades. This is very helpful when cutting along marked lines.
Minimizes waste
Spring-loaded sheet holder positioned just 1.2″ (32 mm) from the cutting line, minimizing waste. The sheet holder also serves as finger protection, preventing fingers from reaching the shear.
RAPIDO table
RAPIDO has milled grooves in the table every tenth millimeter and fixed angle stops with millimeter scales on both sides.
LED-illuminated cutting line
The sheet holder has laser-cut sight windows at the top, providing a clear view of the illuminated section at the shear blades. This is very helpful when cutting along scribed lines.
